Love the Look



The room I have selected for this weeks love the look is the dining room from the home of Amber of Amber Interiors. This has been an extremely popular room in the blogsphere and I can totally understand why. The colours and textures are beautiful, I am particularly keen on the rug.

I really really love this look! Dining room chairs are seldom very comfortable but with those sheepskin rugs, they look so cozy!

I really like the patterned rug over the sisal one, and the light feature. It's a genius way to make a too short rug work, I think!

@Julia - I couldn't find anything quite like the lamp and the rug I have shown is the closest I could find to the gorgeous one in the image - and I spent some time looking! It's such a lovely room.

The lamp shall remain a mystery then... but the rug you found is pretty close, and the layers is really, really a good idea.

If I happen to stumble upon the lamp I will do a new post on where to buy. The layers are lovely, my gran used to layer rugs like that - she was obviously well ahead of her time!
