Living in the loft

The house I grew up in was a single story house with a conversion upstairs including two bedrooms and a dormer window. I love the interest added by living within the roof space, there is something so enjoyable about lying in bed all cosy, listening to the rain against the roof. Here are some lovely lofts.

I always wanted an attic getaway. When I was a kid I begged my parents to have the attic turned into my sister's and I's bedroom. Unfortunatley the stairs came down right in the middle of the hallway. Boy the dreams we had of that space.

These are lovely. I love the painted wood room!
